About Us

Dr. Hedges was born and raised in Southern Indiana and is a graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance and a Master's degree in education from the University of Louisville while also playing quarterback on the UofL Football Team.  Prior to his dental career, Dr. Hedges was a health and PE teacher at Floyd Central High School for several years.  While teaching, Dr. Hedges returned to UofL to continue his education and received his doctorate degree from the UofL School of Dentistry. One of his favorite memories from dental school was traveling to Belize where he and some classmates provided dental care to the locals. 

As a dentist, Dr. Hedges believes in educating his patients so that they can make informed decisions about their dental health. He takes pride in continuing his education in the field of dentistry to stay current and provide his patients with the best care possible. When he isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Hedges enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching and attending sporting events, and making memories with his wife, Christy, and their three dogs, Tucker, Sydney, and Milly. He also has a passion for woodworking and has convinced Christy to let him take over their garage to create his dream workshop. You may find some of his pseudo-masterpieces sprinkled around the office!
